Sun 30th July

We went for a drive, L and family have just bought 77 acres near Woodside so went to explore. We're both missing not having had a weekend/night away for a while.  Blundstones came in useful avoiding sheep poo.  Thermos of tea to take with us and the dreampot cooking so when we get home after church tonight I don't have to cook.

A good session at Johns gym followed by a Kicco coffee and groceries. Then a Masters run, 8km cross country at East Tce, an unusually warm blowy day but the rain held off so it quite enjoyable. I didn't feel as tired or heavy legged as I expected. Finished with a extra sugary cup of tea, my favourite part of the afternoon.  Marianne came over with Eloise to have a shower as their place is out of action whilst the bathroom is renovated. Lauren and the girls also came for tea, so it was a lovely noisy house. Eloise kept looking for the pussy cat but she kept her distance, too noisy! Eloise likes giving hugs!

So yes, decided to create a blog to hopefully keep a personal record of what we get up to...life, weeks, and weekends seem to fly busily enough, but end up in a blur and we flounder around trying to remember what we actually got up to.  I knew that the only way I could do it was to have someone that was iPhone friendly as I wouldn't be using a laptop outside of work if I didn't have to. And of course, there is an app to make it easy for me.  Funny that I decide to do a blog now, even though it was recommended as part of the MBA marketing subject and I never tried it then. Oh well. So as I'm in the middle of blogging, I get a message from G on the family chat that she's had an accident, hit her head after her shower an...
