Young poppets...

Here are some photos of the nieces and nephew...Finn is such a happy little boy. I popped in for a play this afternoon. He’s started crawling.  Marianne said he’s starting to pulled himself up over Eloise and grab at her clothes as she has quiet time in front of the tv. He thinks it’s a game to get a reaction out of her. Eloise refuses her afternoon nap...this is what Marianne walked in to 🙄😫😂. This photo makes me laugh everytime I look at it.  Sadie has her outdoor shower tonight, her potato chips and then it was a brief spell on Tim’s chair before looking for the door to go home.   Giselle walked in the door in tears with a headache. Nothing that a cool sofa, blanket, strawberries, carrot, ice cream and water couldn’t fix.  She was pretty much okay after some food....mmmm sounds familiar! Otherwise a pottering weekend. The fridge is bursting will all my baking and cooking, Tim did some projects in the shed and church and running filled up the rest of the time. ...

Where do I start..

Been so long since I’ve posted that I don’t know where to start.... We were had been thinking of going away last weekend but we were both too exhausted to contemplate it. Tim has worked so life on the shed and roof for two weeks and I had been to Melb the week before for the marathon. So last weekend we did our gym, coffee and then into household jobs.  Tim started working on the car suspension springs but got they ended up being too hard to put back on so we had a car in pieces for a couple of days.  I got the last of some fruit trees in (mandarins) and planted some seedlings into the vegie patch.  Then I experimented with some cooking from Sarah Wilson’s Superlicious recipe book, using up lemons and beetroot, and made another cake. Nathan and his family, plus Lauren and Sadie, and Dad were all around for Sat dinner. Sadie is still experiencing small seizures, she can usually steady herself but I keep an eye on her whilst she has a shower. I just love this photo Lauren t...

A new shed roof...almost

We’ve finally decided to get solar so the shed roof needed replacing first. I’ll quickly post the photos, and update with a later post. Been very slack with my posting lately!  The electric drill died with four screws to go, so we took the Bunnings voucher and upgraded.
