The new car and camper are off
Well this is the best time to blog! When on holidays! So the trip is planned to go up through Hawker, onto the Strezlecki track, Innamincka, Coongie Lakes, back down to Gammon Ranges and Flinders Ranges and home. A couple of weeks all up.

Then we travelled through Hawker to Merna Mora, a working station that you can camp on. It was so so windy, so took some time for the men to work out where was the best spot to park.

But it was so easy to set up, and having a floor and kitchen was brilliant, particularly being able to stay out of the windy weather.

A nice hot hearty chicken meal whilst the wind and rain set in, then it was wine and biscuits in Rob/Caths camper before bed. It rained overnight but by morning it had cleared to a still day, still quite crisp though.

We’ve just stopped at Leigh Creek for morning break. 5 Ultimate campers all rolled up at the same time!

We left yesterday, had lunch on the road between Port Augusta and Quorn. Actually in a dip where the half marathon started for the Pichi Richi Run. The preparation arrangements worked well, the serving board Tim had cut so I had something to make lunch on was great. And the fridge height is so much easier to work with. No step stool needed anymore.
