January 2018
Well the last few weeks have had their ups and downs. Dad has been through his triple bypass surgery, not bouncing back as quick as we’d hoped (or he thought). It seems the drugs have really muddled him up. We’re glad he’s home now. Two weeks in hospital would take its toll. Lauren, Giselle and I went to visit last weekend. Baby Finn arrived last Sunday. What a tiny little baby, just so perfect! I had a lovely long cuddle on Monday night, just 24 hours old, and Tim had a cuddle yesterday. Until you hold him you don’t realise how little he is. And not very often you get to cuddle a 6 day old baby.
I marked (audited) exams most of the weekend. I was pretty shattered by the time we finished mid Sun afternoon, but it will pay for the rest of the front fence or my flight home from Tokyo in Feb which I havent booked yet!
Tim has sold his Landcruiser and the old camper, all in the space of a couple of weeks. So we are a one car family, ha and that’s not even with my car. It’s still at the car yard getting a new gearbox! We’ve placed an order on a Toyota Fortuna but that won’t arrive for 4 months.

Work is full on at the moment, finishing budgets and forecasts, changes every day.
