A happy weekend

I was so excited about the weekend. I was feeling better, no work stress and lots of fun activities planned.

Friday night date night included a good catch up with Orla and Mum popping through on her way to help Marianne for the weekend.

Sat was a good session at Johns gym and a Kicco coffee after with just my husband and no extras in tow 😉.

Giselle had her 8th birthday party with her school buddy Mariella, a disco theme. We took an esky full of ice-cream (Lauren organised to store in our freezer) which the children enjoyed choosing what flavour and topping they wanted on it.  There were about 30 children screaming and dancing and having a ball. I was on Sadie duty whilst Sonya hosted the party, but she was great, running around enjoying herself.

Giselle made a couple of speeches, thanking her parents, Sonya and guests. Wow, how confident and clear she spoke!

On Sunday I went to the early church and then met Tim at the camping and caravan show. I was hoping for more stalls with “bits”, accessories and goodies to go with you camping and caravanning but I was disappointed. Mostly just vans and campers on display. I’m not that keen to look at them anymore now we’re got our new one (yet to used!!).  Tim got his electrical bits and pieces and we headed home for chores and a nap before going into the Adelaide Fringe.

I bought Giselle and Lauren tickets to

This was a light hearted show with acrobatics, trampolining, strength and random fun acting.

Work has been draining today, employee performance issues, particulary around respect for others, needed addressing.
