Got to love autumn weekends...

Wow the last two weekends have been divine! Could not have asked for better weather. I think I may have changed thinking Autumn is now my favourite season.

Easter weekend was mostly spent at home. I had gardening projects to tackle, and had fallen out running a couple of days before so was feeling a bit sore in places, in particular a swollen right hand and cut lip. Went to Good Friday church service with Marianne and her poppets, was lovely to catch up properly with her and hang about with the children. So enjoyable watching Eloise tuck into her lunch.

We got the stones in around the shower, still need to get more, but the landscaping is taking shape.

Four little fruit trees were planted along the inside of the new front fence, strawberry guava, 2 pomegrantes and a loquet. We’d bought a manual hole digger which was so much easier to use, but had to give up on Sunday after my hand got too sore.

Tim got the new camper out and we packed as much in there as we could. Rob and Cath came round and were suitably impressed, it looks pretty nice now Tim has polished it and we’d given a good clean inside.

Church had a neat little Easter verge display.

In between all this, was a bit of back and forth with a couple of people interested in my little car. We’d listed it on Gumtree to see what we might get for it. The gearbox still sounded terrible and we were torn between trying to get it fixed, whether Fiat would cover the costs or sell it as is. So Tim did all the leg work and we eventually sold it for $6k and he got to keep $250 for his efforts (to treat himself with something he’d like...I’m sure it will be car or camper related 😉) and the rest went in the home loan.

Lauren and Sadie popped in a couple of times for outdoor showers (Sadie) and Andy was in town so we caught up with him too.

What a great 4 day Easter break!

And so this weekend rolled round and no plans!! Wow!! Not used to that.  Plus not doing much training as I’m racing in Canberra next weekend. So Sat we did some errands and driving round. Tim got the pond and pump installed. It looks great and he’s in love with the water trickling sound. (Maybe the pump is slightly over spec’d...😁). Keeping Sadie out will be the next challenge, but having the shower is brilliant. She loves it.

Today we went up to Lauren’s block for a sausage sizzle lunch. Pretty dry but a great little setup and we enjoyed the drive, and getting some sun and warmth. Felt like we were back on holidays!

Giselle is loved by her cousins. They all like giving her hugs.

My Grin2B teeshirt. In support of the condition that Sadie is diagnosed with.
